We visited Ikki Lounge Bar one Thursday afternoon, right after work. Since we don't actually like the aesthetic of shopping malls, we weren't pleased to know that the restaurant is located in Mercator, but we ended up surprised to find out that Ikki is not a classical shopping mall restaurant, it is eastern in spirit and interior design.
As we got seated, a confused waiter came and asked us what we would like to eat. We examined the menu and chose: Miso soup, Spring rolls, Singapore noodles and Peanuts salad. The place was empty, so we weren't convinced that we made a good choice. Miso soup was a great starter, as well as spring rolls.
Piggy claims that even in Beijing spring rolls don't taste as good. Noodles and salad were refreshing, though the portion of noodles was quite big. The only thing that we can comment on is the service, because we waited for a while to get our entrees, but the rest was pretty proper.
This is a kind of a restaurant that you would want to stop by if you want to relax and have a healthy meal.
